Independent educational content — This article summarizes publicly available information from Shein’s Free Trial Help Center. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Shein. Eligibility, availability, and selection requirements apply, and submitting an application does not guarantee approval or receipt of a product. Always consult the latest official terms.
If you are unfamiliar with the Free Trial Center, knowing where each stage fits into the process can make the program much easier to understand.
The steps below explain how eligible products may be found, how applications are submitted, where results can be checked, and what may be required from participants who are selected. Following these steps does not guarantee selection.
1- Enter the Free Trial Center
Log in to your Shein account. In the app, open your profile → Other Services (or More Services) → Free Trial Center. On the website, look for the Free Trial option within the available community or service sections.
After entering the program area, browse the eligible products currently displayed. Product availability can change, so listings may look different on future visits.

2- Apply for products that interest you
The Free Trial program generally provides up to 3 application opportunities each week. Opportunities that are not used are generally not carried forward to the following week.
When you see an eligible product you would like to evaluate:
Choose Free Trial on the product listing
Select the appropriate size if required
Check that your delivery address is located in the same country as the Shein site you are using
Confirm the information and select Submit
Check before applying: Your shipping-address country should correspond to the regional version of Shein being used. A mismatch may interfere with the processing of your request.

3- Monitor the outcome of your requests
Application review may take approximately one week. Visit My Free Trial or My Applications to check the latest status of your submitted requests.
Approved — your request was selected. A qualifying order may then be generated at $0 and prepared for shipment.
Failed — your request for that particular item was not selected. Other eligible products may become available later.

4- Try the product and share your experience
Participants who are selected and receive an eligible item can test it through normal use and consider aspects such as quality, design, fit, materials, comfort, and overall construction.
After using the item, submit a genuine and detailed evaluation through your account, preferably within 10 days of delivery. Review progress may be available through My Report.
Useful feedback can include:
Specific observations about what you liked and disliked
Clear photographs showing the item and important details
Comments about fit, materials, comfort, quality, and normal use

5. Earn Reward Points for Accepted Reviews
Go to the My Report page to see if your submission was approved. Each accepted report grants you 20 points toward your future orders. Plus, if the team marks your feedback as a "Quality Review," you will receive an extra 100 points as a reward.

6. Update and Send Again If Declined
Don't panic if your review comes back as Rejected—you can easily fix it. Hit the Resubmit button under My Report. Write a more detailed description, replace dark images with well-lit photos, and submit it again as soon as possible. Unresolved rejections can negatively affect your future trial entries.

About program points: An accepted report may provide approximately 20 points, while a qualifying Quality Report may provide around 100 additional points.
If an initial report is not accepted, participants may receive one additional opportunity to revise it and submit it again.

Questions about the Free Trial process
Does the program generally cover shipping?
Shipping is generally covered for qualifying Free Trial products. Customs duties or import-related costs may still vary depending on the destination country.
What is the usual weekly application limit?
The program generally provides up to three applications per week. Opportunities not used are typically not carried over.
Can selected participants keep the item?
Under the standard Free Trial process, selected participants can generally keep qualifying products after completing the required evaluation according to the applicable terms.
How long can an application decision take?
A status update may take approximately one week. Check My Free Trial or My Applications to follow submitted requests.
Can an evaluation be corrected and resubmitted?
If an initial report is not accepted, the program may allow one additional submission after the requested corrections have been made.
Is a large follower count necessary?
A large social media following is not listed as a general requirement. Eligibility and genuine, useful product feedback are more relevant to participation.
In summary, the process follows several stages: enter the Free Trial Center → browse eligible listings → submit requests within the weekly allowance → monitor the results → if selected, receive and evaluate the product → complete the requested feedback. Checking the relevant information before applying can make each stage easier to understand.
